Packing for a luxury villa is different from a hotel, because you are arriving somewhere private that may not have a gift shop around the corner.
A little planning means you will not be hunting for sunscreen or an adapter on an island with one tiny store.
- Reef-safe sunscreen, often required on islands
- Light layers for air-conditioned evenings
- Waterproof phone pouch for boat trips
- Any medications you cannot easily replace
Pack the essentials you cannot buy locally, and leave the rest to the butler, who can usually source almost anything you forget.
